It has been gathered by Nigeriafilms that Branama crooner is in her 6th month of pregnancy and is experiencing pre-eclampsia, i.e. pregnancy induced high blood pressure.
A medic from Nigeria, Dr Adeyefa, explained that if the foetus had been 9 months, it could have been removed, which would save both lives, of the mother and the baby.
The doctor continued:
"As it is now, not only will the baby not survive because the carrier is in coma, Kefee may also lose her life from further complications. The chances of the mother surviving is narrow, while the kid has a narrower chance. I urge Nigerians to pray for her, that's all she needs."

D'banj Signs Tonto Dikeh To DB Records

The deal had previously been speculated earlier this week, after Tonto was photographed with the entire DB Records crew, in what seemed like a get-together of some sort.
Tonto who has achieved remarkable success in Nollywood over the years, had taken the leap into music production, recording, and publishing, but a majority of her songs such as 'Hi', 'Jeje', and a few more, have received negative and, for the most part, malicious feedback from the Nigerian public.
Pulse.ng also gathered that along with Tonto Dikeh, DB Records also have added 2 brothers, 2Kriss, who have inked a deal to join the record label. 2Kriss are a collaboration of two brothers with versatile musical productions ranging from Hiphop to Afro-Pop. They previously were signed onto Bigboyz Ent, but with their crossover to DB Records, their career can only get bigger.
With speculations and unconfirmed rumours circulating about the Tonto Dikeh deal, there have been mixed reactions to the move. Many are of the opinion that Tonto was not recruited for her musical dexterity, but as a PR stunt to add a certain allure and spotlight on DB Records. Also, it is public knowledge that D'banj and Tonto Dikeh are friends, and the new deal is just a step forward in what has been a good relationship.
Tonto Dikeh on paper, stands to gain a fairly good number of advantages, as she will now have unfettered access to the production abilities of 2Kriss and DeeVee, as well as the mentorship of D'banj and Kay Switch, while also benefiting from the 'musical' atmosphere that exist in organized record labels.
So what next for her? A collaboration with D'banj?

Ex-NAFDAC Director-General Dora Akunyili Is Dead!

Former Minister of Communication and DG of NAFDAC Dora Akunyili has passed away. The celebrated pharmacist had been receiving chemotherapy for cancer in India.
News of her death broke out yesterday, with many doubting its credibility but confirmation has come from Former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, who released a statement confirming the death of NAFDAC reformer Dora Akunyili.
"On behalf of the Akunyili’s family, I wish to officially confirm the death of Prof. (Mrs.) Dora Nkem Akunyili, OFR, in a Specialist Cancer Hospital in India this morning at 10 am, Nigerian Time, after a two-year battle with cancer.
"In spite her illness, Prof. Akunyili was unwavering in her belief in a better Nigeria. That was why she defied her condition and was part of Anambra State Handover Committee and the National Conference. The last time I visited her in India, even when she needed all the prayers herself, she was full of concern for the abducted Chibok girls, security and other challenges facing the country and told me that she remained prayerful for the release of those girls and for God to help President Goodluck Jonathan to overcome all the challenges facing the Nation.
"She therefore urged all Nigerians to remain prayerful and committed to building a better society for our children. We all prayed together and I promised to be visiting her every month. We thank all those who remain fervent in prayers for her recovery and urge them to remain prayerful for the peaceful repose of her soul. Mr. Peter Obi, CON Saturday, June 7, 2014."
Dr Akunyili made an indelible impact during her tenure as Director General of Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and her legacy will live on.
May her soul rest in Peace
